lyrics
They tell me you're better off
You don’t belong
But you cant take me
All of the same tiny voices
Stuck in my head
Cant rid of you
And I have no soul
Misery is tormented,
Ripped, sewn back,
Beaten, and burned
You cant take me
I’m not afraid
Not anymore
Crippling monster
Who
Dares dwell
In my home
Without me there?
Who
Dares dwell
They tell me you're better off
You don’t belong
But you cant take me
All of the same little friends
Stuck in my head
Where it lives it begins
And I have no heart
You think
You are a god
Misery
Over me
I can't
Misery
You won’t be in me
But you won’t die
Free me
You won’t die
Please, I still love here
I’m still here
We linger on by a silk thread
Constant misery
They live here too
Help
Circle of white light
Please
I’m still here
I have no control
Misery
I belong
Where my friends live
I belong

I love the light and shade between Bryan's dirty and Emma's forlorn vocals. There are so many layers to this recording that are driven home through contrast. Plus the riffs are brilliant and get me moving. I can't stop listening to Thou and Emma in general lately. spaceman2250

What an impressive piece of black metal. This one-man hurricane is pure art. Sgah‘gahsowáh creates an haunting atmosphere. He puts so much soul in his music. Sælzer Bub

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu
